The Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network is funded by the Chief Scientist Office to promote a culture of clinical research in dementia across Scotland and improve recruitment to high-quality studies from both urban and rural areas.

NRS: NHS Scotland Research: Mental Health Network

NRS Mental Health was set up in 2009. Funded by the Chief Scientists Office (CSO) the primary aims of the network are to: increase the amount of high-quality clinical research in Mental Health in Scotland; increase the number of people participating in Mental Health research studies in Scotland.

NRS: NHS Scotland Research: Cancer Research Network

NRS Cancer is supported by the Chief Scientist Office of the Scottish Government to increase, support and sustain clinical trial activity in cancer care in partnership with the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC). The fundamental aim of NRS Cancer is to support the recruitment of cancer patients into clinical research and so contribute to improving the quality of cancer care for patients across Scotland. This has been achieved by improving the supportive research infrastructure in NHS Cancer Services in Scotland.
