SCTT's role is to provide support and advice to all key stakeholders and help evaluate the potential for new technologies, with the aim of making Scotland an recognised global leader in telehealth and healthcare. |It is part of NHS 24

HIAP was designed to encourage prospective providers of new and/or innovative products and solutions to showcase them and access information and advice and initial assessment of the new product or technology. A new service, Scotland Innovates, builds on the success of the Health Innovation Assessment Portal (HIAP), expanding the submission and assessment of innovative products and solutions across the entire Scottish Public Sector.

The NHS West of Scotland Innovation Hub supports health and social care innovation across the West of Scotland and seeks to address key challenges to improve health, social care and service delivery by: co-designing, co-developing and co-delivering health and social care innovation in the West of Scotland; providing end to end support, from conception to procurement; supporting innovation that addresses key challenges to improve health, social care and service delivery.

Healthcare Improvement Scotland is the national healthcare improvement organisation for Scotland whose purpose is to ensure better quality health and social care for all in Scotland. HIS's has a broad work programme which supports health and social care services to improve.

The Innovation Hub’s primary role is to provide strategic and operational leadership across NHS Grampian for innovation activity. It is most concerned with innovation activity focused on the development of ideas, testing prototypes, and evaluating products in real life clinical environments. In almost all cases, projects and programmes relate directly to significant healthcare delivery challenges, usually aligned with a national or local strategic priorities. Major areas of activity include medical technology devices and data science.

The National Safe Haven is a secure environment where data for projects is uploaded and accessed. It offers a high powered computing service, secure analytic environment, secure file transfer and a range of analytic software

Part of Public Health Scotland, eDRIS is designed to provide a single point of contact and to assist researchers in study design, approvals and data access in a secure environment. The level of eDRIS support required can be tailored to meet your requirements and includes: A named Research Co-ordinator from start to finish.

NHS inform is Scotland's national health information service. It aims is to provide the people in Scotland with accurate and relevant information to help them make informed decisions about their own health and the health of the people they care for.

Each NRS Regional Node hosts a Biorepository that holds responsibility for tissue governance for their partner board and supports and facilitates access to surplus diagnostic and surgical tissue for use in research. These nodes form a network of Biorepositories designed to encourage the use of tissue in research and boost the availability of tissue from across Scotland.

The major research Boards across Scotland - North (NHS Grampian), East (NHS Tayside), South (NHS Lothian) and West (NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde) - play a leading role in supporting the delivery of research and R&D Directors from these Health Boards form part of the NRS Strategy Board providing regional expertise and an in-depth view of research activity across Scotland.
